Assess the Internal Operation of the Organization
through the lens of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI)
Proposals are due by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 2023
The City of Ashland (City) is seeking proposals for professional consultant services to conduct an analysis and develop a baseline assessment report of the City’s current organizational practices and level of DEI awareness and competency.
Goals of the project include, developing a long-term DEI strategy and prioritize recommendations in the areas of hiring, procurement procedures and programming services; to identify and incorporate qualitative and quantitative performance metrics and data to gauge DEI initiatives; to identify steps the City could take to build trust and meaningful engagement with historically underrepresented and marginalized groups, as well as community partners; to develop a training strategy to increase DEI competencies, skills and capacity; to increase awareness, address disparities, and promote equity and inclusion within City funded programs.
The Request for Proposal is available at www.ashland.or.us and www.orgonbuysgov. You will need to log in to the oregon.gov system each time you would like to download the solicitation documents and any subsequently issued addenda.
In accordance with AMC Section 2.50.080, competitive sealed bids may be available online, but bidders will NOT be able to submit their proposals or responses online. Proposals must be delivered in hard copy form to the City in accordance with the requirements outlined in the RFP. Individuals that obtain the solicitation materials electronically are responsible for regularly checking for subsequently issued instructions, addenda, and related materials.
Deadline to submit questions and requests for additional information is Monday, January 16, 2023.
