CERT Basic Training Schedule
At this time we are unable to provide a fall training update. We will continue to look at the situation with careful consideration.
We remain excited and hopeful we can offer some resemblance of the highly coveted CERT training and will post updates as available.

Ashland CERTís Spring "Intensive" Basic Training Course is offered FREE to residents of Jackson County interested in being prepared. The course is also required to establish volunteerism within CERT. There will be future opportunities to participate in the sought-after CERT training in 2020. Participants must attend each session in full including four evenings and two day sessions.

VOLUNTEER VICTIM REGISTRATION FORM | Mock Disaster Victims Needed
 
Training consists of more than 25 hours of instruction over four evenings and two weekend days. Sessions culminating in a final simulated disaster exercise. NOTE: Students must attend and complete all training modules to complete the course. 
 

Locations:

To be announced (Ashland).

For the final disaster simulation please dress for all weather and wear pants and boots or sturdy sneakers. The CERT office has basic protective equipment for you to wear if you do not bring your own (such as hard hat, safety vest, work gloves, goggles/sunglasses, and knee pads). You must wear PPE during the simulation for everyone's safety.
