the 9th Annual
 
FREE Green Debris Drop Off Day!
“Clean Up Your Green Debris, Be Fire-free!”

Unlike past years, you MUST sign up to participate 
in Green Debris Drop Off Day!
 

To maximize social distancing during the COVID-19 outbreak,
 only the first 200 sign-ups will be admitted to drop off their green debris.

8:30AM - 3:30PM 
Valley View Transfer Station
3000 Valley View Road, Ashland OR

Create a Firewise yard before fire season starts by removing the “fuel“ from a potential wildfire. Ashland residents who sign up are invited to drop-off their green debris free of charge!

When:  
May 2nd, 2020, 8:00AM - 3:30PM Sunday, May 31st, 2020, 8:30AM - 3:30PM

Where: Valley View Transfer Station, 3000 N. Valley View Rd., Ashland, OR

Who: All Ashland residents who 
sign up, showing proof of address and ID (drivers license, utility bill, etc). The Valley View Transfer Station will be opened on Sunday only to Ashland’s Green Debris Drop Off Day participants. No other towns or persons will be able to drop off any waste of any kind on this day.

Why: Removing wildfire fuel like leaves, pine needles and small branches from your house and gutters can significantly reduce your wildfire risk and help prevent the spread of wildfire within the city of Ashland. 

How: Remove leaves, branches & other green debris from your yard, 
sign up, and drop it off FREE OF CHARGE to the Transfer Station. 


ACCEPTED MATERIALS: Only organic green debris will be accepted.  This includes leaves, pine needles, small branches (up to 6 inches in diameter), brush and other green debris

PROHIBITED MATERIALS: Please leave trash, stumps, logs, firewood, & treated lumber at home.  If you bring your green debris in bags, the bags need to be emptied and taken home.
