Run - Annual 4th July Run

The 2022 4th of July Run will take place in person this year! Registration is OPEN4th of July Run Logo


Two runs are offered, a 2-mile fun run and a 10K that attracts local competitors as well as running talent from other regions in the U.S. The routes are scenic and on closed roadways. A section of the 10K route is along the tree-lined Bear Creek Greenway. View the course map.

All ages are welcome. The cost for either run is $15 for youth (12 and under) and starts at $25 for adults (ages 13 and up)… register early and save $$$. 

  • On-Time Registration for adults, May 2 - June 14, $25
  • Late Registration for adults, June 15 - 30, $30 
  • Last Chance Registration for adults, July 1 - 4, $35 

T-shirts with this year’s logo are available for sale, when you register, for $20/each... Buy one or pick up a few for you and your friends! You can even by a shirt without registering for the race (via the registration link above). Shirts must be ordered by June 14 so that we have time to get the shirts made. 
PACKET PICK UP / 2 OPTIONS (T-shirts pick up available at this time as well): 

  • Sunday, July 3, Noon to 5 p.m., at the Ashland Library. Registration will also be available at this time (credit card payment only)
  • Monday, July 4, after 6:45 a.m., packets can be picked up in the front of the library near the starting line until the races begins at 7:45 a.m. (This is the preferred packet pick up time!)

The start/finish line is near the Ashland Library, 410 Siskiyou Blvd, corner of 3rd St and Gresham St. Both races start at 7:45 a.m. and are chip-timed. The starting line will remain open until 7:50 a.m. for those who wish to physically distance from others. 

This event is a fundraiser for the Ashland and Phoenix High School cross country teams. You may also make a donation to the Ashland Parks Foundation when you register.
