Ashland Parks Youth Conservation Corps

Youth Conservation Corps has completed its 2022 season. 20 youth completed 500 hours of volunteer work in Lithia and North Mountain Park. Thank you to all who participated!

Please check back in early 2023 for info on next years program.

Each year APRC offers an opportunity for the youth of the Rogue Valley to participate in restoration and riparian work in Ashland parks and trails during our summer Youth Conservation Corps (YCC).

Incoming 8th through 12th graders will spend a week performing a variety of parks and trails maintenance tasks including invasive species removal, trail chipping, hand watering newly planted native species and shoring up well-used hiking trails.

Earn Academic Community Service Hours
After successfully completing the program, participants will earn 25 hours of academic community service per session plus recreation passes the Ashland Rotary Centennial Ice Rink.

For further information contact APRC Volunteer Coordinator, Sulaiman Shelton at 541.552.2264 or email.
