Hunter Park

Hunter Park Playground Hunter Park is approximately 10 acres and is located on Homes Avenue between Walker and Normal Streets. The park has eight tennis courts, ballfields, picnic areas, restrooms and the Daniel Meyer Memorial Swimming Pool. In the winter of 2017 a new playground was installed (featured in the photo to the right). 

Hunter Park Tennis Programs this summer:

All courts are reserved and unavailable for use on the following dates:
  • Big Al's Tournament July 16-18
  • Boy's National Tournament Sept 3-5
On the following dates, 4 or fewer courts are reserved and will be unavailable for use:
  • Wild West Camp July 23-25
  • RecTennis Camps, Mon-Fri 8am to noon, June 21 - Aug 27 (2 courts)
  • Universal Tennis Ranking Tournament Sept 17-19
The tennis courts lights can be activated by players between the hours of 4 and 10 p.m.

The Daniel Meyer Memorial Swimming Pool is outdoors and is open mid-June through Labor Day Weekend.
