In 2000, the City Council created a specific ad-hoc committee to address parking and transportation issues in three key areas of Ashland; Ashland Community Hospital and surrounding neighborhood, Downtown and the SOU campus and surrounding areas.

The Transportation, Transit & Parking Committee (TTPC) was made up of citizens, Chamber of Commerce members, SOU administrative staff, ACH staff and several City Councilors.

The attached document is the result of neighoborhood meetings in each of the study areas, as well as a City-wide forum held at SOU and weekly meetings of the Committee.
