Smoke and Haze from Wildfires

SMOKE: We are starting to get some smoke and haze from area wildfires that are closer and some as far away as Alaska and central California where the Oak Fire is burning outside Yosemite. The Oak Fire smoke is higher in the atmosphere for now and not expected to impact air quality significantly. Before a larger smoke event occurs, learn more about the health actions you can take, purchase respirators and, prepare a clean room in your home or business for when smoke could impact air quality.
