Ashland Chamber's 4th of July Returns!

The Ashland Chamber's 4th of July Parade returns to Ashland this year.  The 2022 Parade Theme is “Ashland Cares!”, recognizing our incredible medical community, especially the front line medical staff, who cared for and continue to care for our entire community during the tumultuous and uncertain pandemic, sometimes risking their own health and safety for others. The community of Ashland is immensely grateful for their service.  The Ashland Chamber invites parade entries to express this theme within their floats and be inspired by the theme of “Ashland Cares!” when putting together their fun and creative floats and entries.   If you'd like to have a float in the parade, learn more by clicking here or visit www.ashlandchamber.com/4thofjuly. Applications are due by Friday, June 24th.

The Ashland Chamber is honored to bring back this annual celebration which includes the 4th of July Run organized by the Ashland Parks & Recreation in the morning, followed by our beloved Parade that begins at 10am with the coinciding jet flyover. The Parade will be livestreamed on www.ashlandchamber.com.   After the parade concludes, folks can enjoy entertainment at the Lithia Park Bandshell from Noon - 4pm.  As the Chamber brings back this community event this year, the park festivities will be focused on the Lithia Park Bandshell where bands including the Ashland City Band, perform all afternoon as well as non-profit food vendors adjacent to the Bandshell.  Families can also enjoy activities at the entrance to Lithia Park including a Family Fun Zone sponsored by Rogue Community Health.

"Our hope is with this scaled back version of the park that everyone enjoys the space provided following the parade to enjoy the fun and entertainment", says Katharine Cato of the Ashland Chamber.

While the Ashland Chamber is unable to hold an evening fireworks show, you are invited to attend the American Band Concert that will be performed at Ashland High School Football Stadium at 7:30pm. Featuring guest soloist, Harry Watters and the 175-member ABC Band.
