UPDATE: East winds and low mixing heights were possibly going to blow smoke toward the community so, we are holding off on today's burning. We'll see about getting these burns done tomorrow when conditions improve.
Today, Tuesday November 16th, Lomakatsi Restoration Project is managing two controlled burns on behalf of the Ashland Forest Resiliency off Mt. Ashland Ski Road and Colestin Road. Smoke could be visible from parts of Interstate 5 and is not expected to impact town or roads and trails. Check weather and smoke on the watershed camera.
