TID will resume beginning June 30th
Posted: Tuesday, June 29, 2021

Great news! Talent Irrigation District (TID) will begin charging the canals today which means our TID customers could start to see water in the canal as early as tomorrow but likely not until Thursday and into Friday. Anytime the canal goes from dry to full there are many maintenance things that we have to do to keep the canal flowing, please bare with us as we work through this process. We will do our best to communicate any changes as the season progresses. If you have any questions please contact the Water department at 541-488-5353. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Original post:
We are very sorry for any inconvenience this causes anyone, we did not anticipate this shutdown impacting our City of Ashland customers. The shutdown will begin for some Ashland TID customers as soon as this afternoon. We will post updates once we receive them. Thank you for your understanding.

TALENT IRRIGATION DISTRICT

PRESS RELEASE

JUNE 14, 2021

With the recent rains and the severe drought situation facing the Rogue Basin, Talent Irrigation District will be shutting the entire irrigation system down on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 for a period of at least two weeks. If we should receive additional precipitation, the shutdown period could be extended. This is being done to extend the extremely limited water supply.
