For improved wildlife habitat and wildfire safety, Ashland Forest Resiliency is managing a controlled burn north of the Mt. Ashland ski exit. The controlled burn could be visible from parts of Interstate 5. We do not expect smoke to impact town. Fire Crews with Lomakatsi Restoration Project are monitoring smoke closely.
