9/8/2020 12:45 p.m. update: No further evacuations within city limits are necessary at this time. For travel please avoid Valley View Road and I5 Exit 19.

12:28 p.m. update: Power has been turned off to the areas evacuated in Quiet Village. 

12:15 p.m. update: I5 through exit 14 (south Ashland) and 21 (Talent) and OR Hwy 99 southbound lanes are closed due to wildfire.

There is a grass fire near Almeda Drive in Quiet Village which Fire crews are responding too. Those in the area west of Michelle Avenue and lower Cambridge Street should evacuate. Others should avoid the area until it is deemed safe to return or travel.
