Regional COVID-19 Financial Assistance

ACCESS, Jackson County's Community Action Agency, was awarded over $3.3 million for COVID-19 Rental Relief Assistance and $770,867 for Energy Assistance. The funding for Rental Relief and Energy Assistance is for anyone at or below 80 percent of the area median income residing in Jackson County. Information regarding these programs and how to apply can be found here.

Jackson County has provided funding to United Way of Jackson County to provide assistance for rent relief, utilities, and more. Residents and small businesses of Jackson County directly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic can apply for assistance with United Way. Assistance will be provided on a first come, first served basis. Documentation such as employer notices, Employment Department information, landlord notices, utility bills, etc.  will be required in order to apply. Funding is limited to $1,500 per individual or family and $3,000 per small business.
