Adopt a Neighbor Ashland Needs More Volunteers!

The City of Ashland continues to partner with Adopt a Neighbor Ashland to support the most Adopt a Neighbor Ashlandvulnerable among us. Adopt a Neighbor pairs healthy volunteers under 65 (per CDC guidelines) to their at-risk neighbors to help with shopping and errands. Even though Jackson County has entered Phase 2 of reopening, the need for many in the community to shelter-in-place remains.

Can you help a neighbor with occasional shopping and errands? Providing this valuable service allows your at-risk neighbor to limit their exposure by staying home. If you have the availability, please sign up at adoptneighbor.org to give help.

If youíre already helping someone in the community, itís CRITICAL you protect yourself and your neighbors. Review Jackson County Health & Human Services guidance at ashland.or.us/neighbors to learn how to be neighborly while reducing the spread of COVID-19. Thank you for all youíre doing to support our community!
