2020-21 Economic, Cultural, Tourism & Sustainability Grant Online Application Now Available 

The FY 2020-2021 Economic Development, Cultural, Tourism and Sustainability Grant Application is now available through an online portal on the City's website. Please click here for  access to this page or you can get to this page by going to ashland.or.us/engage. Once there, click on the 2020 Economic Development, Cultural, Tourism, and Sustainability Grants topic.

The FY 2020-2021 Economic Development, Cultural, Tourism and Sustainability Grant deadline is April 9, 2020 at 4:00 p.m.

New for this year, the application will only be available on our website through an online portal. Please see the link above. As this is a new application format for applicants, please contact us ahead of the deadline with any questions or issues, as there will be no exceptions to the deadline. No paper copy applications will be accepted. Please be sure to carefully review the application for instructions and be as specific and complete as possible as you complete the application.

All applications must be complete when submitted through the portal and additional documents must have been submitted via email or paper copy delivery and have met the submittal deadline to be considered. No exceptions will be considered. 

As part of the implementation of the City's Economic Development Strategy, the Economic, Cultural, Tourism and Sustainability Grant Program process, criteria, scoring and reporting maximizes the grant funds across all of the eligible program categories. This year’s Council approved funding levels was approved for Tourism in the TOT Resolution (Resolution 2019-17) on June 5, 2019 at Council Business Meeting and additional funding for the Non-Tourism Activities was approved for funding at February 4, 2020 Council Business Meeting. Approved funding levels for this year total $230,000 with $80,000 allocated for tourism and $150,000 in non-tourism funds. 

The Committee reviewing these applications will be meeting in April and May at a to be determined time. Information regarding these meetings will be mailed to applicants after the applications are received.
