In the next week, Avista will be conducting natural gas meter safety inspections within Ashland. This safety inspection will be conducted by Heath Consultants, Inc., an Avista authorized contractor. The contractors are easily recognized by a bright yellow Avista safety vest and an identification badge.
To complete the required inspection, Avista contractors will need access to your property in areas where underground natural gas lines are located, and to your gas meter. No interruption to your service is planned as part of this work. If there are issues with access to your property, a door hanger will be left with a phone number to contact a contractor directly.
