Public Service Announcement -

Between May 21 and June 6 - during the night time hours - an ODOT electrical contractor will be upgrading the signals. The work is scheduled Sunday-Thursday nights.

This project is part of a larger $1.6 million upgrade of signals in 126 locations southern Oregon.

Lantz Electric will upgrade the signals lenses and add reflectorized back plates. At some locations, new wires will be installed through existing conduit to accommodate an additional signal head for right turns. No right of way is needed and there will be no ground disturbance. Benefits? This project increases visibility of the signals, save taxpayers on electrical costs and increase safety for pedestrians by holding right turning traffic when the crosswalk is in walk mode.

If you have questions, please contact Gary Leaming, ODOT Project Information at 541-774-6388 or email: Gary.W.Leaming@odot.state.or.us
