January 7 Goal Setting Listening Session

The Ashland City Council will be holding a listening session for residents to share what they think the City should be focusing on in the next biennium. The listening session will take place Monday, January 7, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Carpenter Hall, 15 S. Pioneer Street (above the Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s box office). The listening session will be an informal drop-in type of meeting. Attendees can arrive anytime between 5:30 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. and leave whenever they choose.

Councilors along with City staff will be present to talk to citizens one-on-one about the goals they would like the City to focus on. There is also an online survey for those who cannot attend the meeting. The survey can be found at ashland.or.us/engage under the Budget Goal Setting topic. The online survey will be open from December 31, 2018 until January 14, 2019. This listening session and online survey are part of the City Council’s broader goal setting process that will be completed in February 2019. The goals identified by the City Council will serve as a guide for the 2019-2021 budget.
