Upper Bull Gap Trail Ecological Thinning from 11/7 to 11/30
Ecological thinning operations will begin on Upper Bull Gap Trail in the Ashland Watershed and continue through the month of November. Upper Bull Gap Trail and all other trails will remain open.
Please exercise caution by slowing down. Our project partners Lomakatsi Restoration Project

Our community collaborative forest restoration project reduces the risk of severe wildfire across public and private land in and around the Ashland Watershed. We work to protect old trees, wildlife habitat, homes, trails and our water source by thinning overcrowded forests and conducting controlled burns.
