The City of Ashland is holding a Living with Wildlife Presentation on Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Community Center, 59 Winburn Way. Representatives from the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) and the Ashland Police Department will be there to present information and answer questions.
Topics covered will include: a reminder of best practices for living among wildlife, what to do when encountering wildlife, who and when to contact about a wildlife encounter, and typical responses and limits of ODFW. Community members concerned or who would like more information on how to deal with wildlife are encouraged to attend.
