In this water limited year, we are encouraging our community to love your water and limit water waste with the following tips:
Try not to irrigate between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Don’t allow water to run off onto streets, sidewalks, driveways or adjacent property
Don’t use water to wash sidewalks, walkways or other hard surfaces (except where necessary for public health or safety).
Don’t allow water to leak from breaks within your plumbing system.
Limit washing cars, boats, trailers, aircraft or other vehicles by hose without a shutoff nozzle.
Don’t use water for dust control or washing buildings.
With the help of our great citizenry we can stretch our water supply further into the summer months. City of Ashland staff will continue to monitor water supply. We thank you in advance for your efforts.
