Construction beginning on Parks Estates Pump Station Project

The City of Ashland has begun construction on the Parks Estates Pump Station Project, located at the intersection of Ashland Loop Rd and Terrace Street.  These improvements will improve pumping redundancy, eliminate hazards for staff and help solve operational problems with the current outdated facility.  McClure and Sons Inc. is overseeing the construction phase of this project and is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.  Residents can expect construction noise during the daytime hours, traffic congestion and vehicle detours, as necessary for construction.  The on-street parking near the intersection has been reserved for construction vehicles only and a portion of the Cottle Trail immediately downhill from the construction site has been closed to ensure pedestrian safety.  We ask for your patience for the next several months as we complete these important improvements to our water system.  For additional information please Kevin Caldwell, Project Manager, at 541-488-5347.
