Trucking Route for City of Ashland Wetland Restoration Project
The City of Ashland is conducting a wetland restoration project at the Lithia Springs Property (555 Emigrant Creek Road). This project will require a significant amount of imported fill, which will be sourced from the Granite Street Quarry located near the intersection of Granite Street and National Forest Road NF-2010. On Monday, April 16, a contractor will begin hauling fill between the quarry and the Lithia Springs property. The contractor will use a combination of designated truck routes and the most direct routes possible, including Granite Street, E Main Street, Dead Indian Memorial Road, and Emigrant Creek Road. Hauling will begin after 7:00 AM, and will cease by 5:30 PM. Contractor will run approximately four trucks per hour and is expected complete the job within 10 business days.
