Winburn Way lighting project to begin installation starting April 2, 2018

Starting April 2nd, City crews will begin installation of six new pedestrian lights along Winburn Way adjacent to Ashland Creek. The project will include the installation of conduits, wiring, electrical vaults and lights which will help illuminate the sidewalk along the creek. In addition, new electrical outlets will be installed for use during the 4th of July festivities and preliminary equipment for two future EV charging locations will also be installed. During construction, parking will be eliminated for the majority of the east-side of Winburn Way between the Community Development Building and Nutley Street, so that crews have a safe area to work inside of and also allow for some traffic movement through this stretch of roadway. It is anticipated that the project will be completed by the end of April. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes and appreciate your understanding. For questions please contact the Engineering department at 541-488-5587.
