The Ashland Senior Program, a division of Ashland Parks and Recreation Commission (APRC),
will begin a process to re envision the program to better serve those who are 55 and older in Ashland and to ensure the programís resilience for years to come. The Ashland Senior Program Advisory Committee (ASPAC) will make recommendations to the Parks and Recreation Commission on a vision for the future of the Ashland Senior Program.
ASPAC is comprised of program participants, related field experts, two parks commissioners and a city councilor. The first ASPAC meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 10, 3:15-5:15 p.m. at The Grove, 1195 E Main St. ASPAC will help organize two public meetings to gather input as well as meet on a regular basis over the course of the next three to five months.
