COVID-19 Emergency Business Grant Application

As of November 19 at 3 p.m., Business Oregon will have another application for small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The program will provide grants up to $200,000 for eligible businesses (including 501(c)(3)s) with up to 100 employees that have received $1 million or less in CARES funding). The program will be facilitated by Business Oregon, not the City of Ashland. For questions or to apply go to the Business Oregon website

***The deadline for the City's grant has passed.***

Given the economic repercussions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent closures, the City of Ashland through a fund matching award with the Oregon Business Development Department (Business Oregon) will facilitate the COVID-19 Emergency Business Grant program with $140,000 in funding available.

  • Have been unable to receive federal CARES Act funding, including the Small Business Administration's Paycheck Protection Program, Economic Injury Disaster Loan Emergency Advance program, or other federal programs for emergency pandemic funding to date;
  • Have 25 or fewer employees; and
  • Be located within the City limits of Ashland.
