We know seeing information online about the City and trying to find out more can sometimes seem daunting. In response, we will be highlighting different ways you can “Connect with Us”.
Email
You can subscribe to emails from the City by signing up at the bottom of our homepage
ashland.or.us. All you need to do is enter your email in the Email Updates section at the bottom of the homepage then click subscribe. You can choose to subscribe to agendas and minutes (for Council and advisory bodies), City News (including news releases, the City Source, and other important information), projects, calendar events, employment, RFPs, or all of the above.
Click here for detailed instructions on how to sign up or change your subscription settings.
Social Media
Our main pages can be found at the following usernames:
Nixle
The City of Ashland partnered with Nixle two years ago to implement its Community Notification System to alert residents in real-time for localized emergency situations and relevant community advisories. Residents already “opted-in” to the Jackson County Citizen Alert System will still get regional messages, but have to sign up with Nixle directly for City of Ashland specific messaging like street closures, evacuations, or power outages.
Sign up by texting 97520 to 888777 or via
ashland.or.us/nixle. The website also shows you how to manage your notifications.
MyAshland App
Did you know your City has an app? The MyAshland app can be found in the App Store or on Google Play.
The app allows you to report an issue directly to the City, check out news, calendar, and agenda items, and links to our main social media pages.
City Source Newsletter
The City Source gets delivered to every resident with a utility account either via mail or email. You can also view current and past City Source newsletters by going to
ashland.or.us/citysource.
