APRC Recreation Programs - Class Proposal

Class Proposals for APRC Instructors

Parks LogoFor questions about future PlayGuide deadlines please email APRC.
In response to continuing COVID-19 restrictions our recreation facilities (Ashland Senior Center, The Grove, North Mountain Park Nature Center) may be closed or open on a limited basis.

We hope to facilitate in-person indoor programs beginning in the fall of 2021, but may still be limited to outdoor activities in Ashland Parks or virtual programming only.  Please use this form and provide complete details to assist us in coordinating your program(s).

Indoor/Outdoor classes:  APRC program instructors are to adhere to and monitor compliance with Oregon Health Authority public health guidelines related to the type of recreation activity delivered. This will include ensuring facial coverings as directed; limiting group sizes; facilitating course activities to minimize touching of common surfaces; and disinfecting any commonly used equipment, surfaces, and seating areas before and after each class.  View the latest public health guidelines from the Oregon Health Authority (OHA).

Online classes: Offered through Zoom or another video conferencing platform. Instructors should be comfortable with using computers and the internet. APRC staff can provide videos, technical tips for teaching online classes and limited tech support to get started.
