The tree was originally identified to be preserved and protected when the parent property at 1365 Tolman Creek Road was subdivided (PA #2016-01029). The tree, a 30-inch diameter at breast height (d.b.h) Ponderosa Pine was originally noted to be in fair condition when assessed for the subdivision, however subsequent examination by a certified arborist has determined that the tree has extensive decay, with infestation by ants, sequoia pitch moths and ips boring beatles, and a lean to its trunk which poses a hazard to existing and proposed development of the property.
