MINUTES CITY COUNCIL STUDY SESSION
Monday, November 18, 2019
Council Chambers, 1175 E. Main Street
Mayor Stromberg called the Study Session to order at 5:30 p.m.
Councilors’ Slattery, Graham, Akins, Seffinger, Rosenthal and Jensen were present.
Initial Asset Management
Public Works Director Paula Brown gave a Staff report.
She gave Council a handout that included the airport property (see attached).
Council discussed the top 6 high priority properties.
Council directed Staff to look at Pioneer Hall and the Community Center as a first priority and to discuss this issue with the Parks and Recreation Department.
City Administrator Kelly Madding spoke that these properties should be looked at how they will further utilize value services for the Community.
Council discussed having a meeting to discuss valued services and essential services.
Council directed Staff to schedule a tour of the high priority properties, get appraisals of the high priority properties and look into a value service strategic planning process.
The Study Session was adjourned at 6:50 PM
