Watershed Art Stephanie Seffinger presented three options for the third and final public art for installation near the Bandersnatch trail. The commission reviewed each option and voted to approve the 4’ x 2’ piece with the three birds. The piece will be built of corten steel and the birds will be stainless steel. The PAC requested the flight direction of the birds be changed. The artist, Cheryl Garcia stated that installation will likely occur in August. Seffinger will present the information to the City Council for approval and work with Public Works on the installation.
The budget for the project is $3,500 and is fully funded by a Haines and Friends grant to the Watershed art group.
