DISCUSSION ITEMS
New Commission Rules – adopted by City Council:
New rules for conduct and operations of the commissions was passed by the Ashland City Council and became effective in March. Amy explained the changes made by the city council and whether that would affect the commission. The Tree Commission’s Power’s and Duties were recently modified and so many of the council adopted changes would not affect those. There has been a change in how absences on the commissions are addressed. All of the commissioners were encouraged to review the new code language in Ashland Municipal Code (AMC) 2.10.
