Bayard called the meeting to order at 8:05 a.m.

Neglected to approve the May 7 minutes.

Establish three goals to be completed over the next six months.

After much discussion the group decided to focus on:

• Developing Policies, Procedures and Criteria, which will include working with other city bodies

And set the following goals:

• Public Art acquisition and placement in the Calle as identified by the landscape architects' plan and what in what is called the Gateway Island on Siskiyou between the Library and the Fire Station.
• Explore all sources of funding
• Acquisitions both active and passive.

Carole reiterated:

Goals allow a vision to be realized

2) Goals measure group effectiveness

3) Achievement of goals helps to overcome conflict
