CALL TO ORDER

Chair Russ Chapman called the meeting to order at 6:20 p.m. John Fields was present. Ray Kistler was absent. Staff present were John McLaughlin, Brandon Goldman and Sue Yates.

TYPE II PUBLIC HEARING

PLANNING ACTION 2003-018

REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT AN APPROXIMATELY 988 SQUARE FOOT ACCESSORY RESIDENTIAL UNIT AT THE FRONT OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 869 WRIGHTS CREEK DRIVE.

APPLICANT: JON & DIANA VAN VLECK

STAFF REPORT

Goldman said the record was held open for seven days and an additional three days for the applicant to respond. No additional testimony will be allowed.

Fields is willing to move towards a motion.

Chapman reviewed the letter and the applicant's response. He accepts Staff's interruption that the size makes the unit subordinate. Public Works said the storm drain in operating below capacity. He would ask Staff to make sure Public Works is aware of the storm drain situation.

Chapman moved to approve PA2003-018 with the seven conditions. Fields seconded.

The motion carried unanimously.
