APRC Facilities will be Closing Due to Rising COVID Numbers

In March 2020 all APRC buildings closed due to the COVID pandemic. Slowly, APRC reopenedThe Grove in Ashland the Oak Knoll Golf Course, and most recently the seasonal Daniel Meyer Memorial Pool, with both facilities adhering to public health guidelines set by the Oregon Health Authority.

On June 30, Governor Kate Brown ended most COVID restrictions, and on July 12, the City of Ashland reopened office lobbies on a limited basis. This includes the following APRC buildings:
  • The Grove, 1195 E Main St in Ashland
  • Ashland Senior Center, 1699 Homes Ave in Ashland
  • APRC Administrative Office, 340 S Pioneer St in Ashland
Each APRC location will be open Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. “The offerings will be limited initially as we slowly reopen,” stated Michael A. Black, Director for APRC. “The offices for both The Grove and the Ashland Senior Center are now open to the public. The APRC admin office will be open by appointment only. It is our goal to make sure that our citizens and our staff feel safe in returning to our facilities.” UPDATE: As of August 18, most APRC facilities will be closed once again due to the rising COVID numbers in Southern Oregon. Exceptions at this time will be the Daniel Meyer Memorial Pool and Oak Knoll Golf Course.

Masks are no longer required but will be available at each APRC building for those who choose to wear a mask indoors. UPDATE: As of August 13, masks will be mandated indoors by the Oregon Health Authority. Masks are recommended outdoors if you cannot maintain six (6) feet distance. Please remember to wash your hands often and if you are symptomatic and/or not feeling well, please do not enter the facility. Instead, let us assist you by email or phone.
