Nearly 30,000 people in Jackson County are considered food insecure, 10,000 of whom are children. These families did not know where their next meal would come from or they went hungry. USDA data shows that about one in seven Oregonians suffered from food insecurity between 2014 and 2016.

The AEFB serves families living in Ashland or Talent and surrounding rural areas with 97520 or 97540 zip code.

The AEFB is open Monday through Friday and the first Saturday of every month, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and 5 to 7 p.m. on the 4th Wednesday of each month. To receive a food donation, visit the AEFB at 560 Clover Lane with your photo ID and proof of address to receive food! If your Driver's License, or State ID, do not contain your current address, please bring a piece of recent mail that does. You will need to have proof of your address each time you visit the AEFB.
