The 10th Anniversary World’s Largest Swimming Lesson
Children ages 3 to 12 years old are invited to Daniel Meyer Memorial Pool on Thursday, June 20 at 2 p.m. for a FREE 30-minute introductory swim lesson focusing on water safety, comfort in the water, air recovery and basic movement in water. Must pre-register online at ashland.or.us/register by June 12 at 5 p.m. (Registration will open by May 10.)
If you would like to sign up for notifications for pool closures due to smoke or inclement weather, text DMPOOL to 888-777. Those who sign up for swim lessons will automatically receive notifications; however, you will have the ability to opt out.
Daniel Meyer Memorial Pool, an outdoor facility located in Hunter Park at 1705 Homes Avenue, will be open through early September 2019. The pool offers rec swim, lap swim, water fitness, swim lessons, swim camps and much more. After May 20, the pool can be reached directly at 541.488.0313.
