Consent

Council approved appointment of Derrick Claypool-Barnes to the Transportation Commission.  For more information click here. 

Council approved an amendment to the Dam Safety Engineer Contract.  For more information click here. 

Council approved the collective bargaining agreement with the Ashland Police Association for the period of July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2021 as proposed. For more information click here.

Park Square Apartment Appeal

Council approved to affirm the decision of the Planning Commission rejecting the appeal.  Council directed Staff to prepare written findings for approval reflecting the original Planning Commission decision and bring back to Council for adoption.  For more information click here. 

New Business

Council went over the proposed Council Rules and Protocols.  Due to time constraints Council was unable to go through each section and decided to bring this Item back to a future Business Meeting to continue the discussion. For more information click here

Ord

Council approved the first reading of an Ordinance amending the Ashland Municipal Code (AMC) regarding Vehicles for Hire. For more information click here. 

Council approved the first reading of an Ordinance amending the AMC regarding Lien Search fees to be set by Resolution. For more information click here. 

Both Ordinances will be brought back to Council at the December 18th Business Meeting for second reading.
