The Ashland Public Library will be open to the public during regular hours of operation.

During the upcoming extreme weather event the City of Ashland will be offering some additional resources to help citizens stay safe and find relief from the extreme conditions.

The Ashland Police Department will have water bottles available to those in need.  Officers will carry additional water bottles with them and will be looking for opportunities to assist those that might be vulnerable heat exhaustion or could benefit from some proactive assistance.

Ashland Fire and Rescue will have water bottles outside of each fire station for those needing cooling hydration.

The Ashland Parks and Recreation Department provides information about how to find respite in the parks during extreme heat.  Those resources can be found here: Find Respite in a Park
