Recap of the 2021 State of the City Celebration

The State of the City celebration was held electronically during the Tuesday, January 19 business meeting. Mayor Julie Akins gave the State of the City Address. Councilor Tonya Graham and Terri Stewart, CERT Coordinator, honored Paul Collins with the James M. Ragland Award for his volunteer work with CERT and various other organizations within Ashland. Councilor Stef Seffinger and former Councilor Rich Rosenthal presented the Alan C. Bates Award to John Stromberg for his years of public service serving as Mayor. The celebration was ended with a year in review for City Departments presented by Mayor Julie Akins.
