Public Input Needed For Smoke Communication and Response Planning

Help the City of Ashland Enhance Smoke Communication

The City of Ashland and partners organizing with Smokewise Ashland are developing a Community Response Plan (CRP) for smoke. The CRP will provide:
  1. A description of persons vulnerable to smoke
  2. Planning options to protect the health of vulnerable populations short-term exposure to smoke
  3. Means of communication & notification to the public about smoke impacts and air quality
  4. A plan and program for communication between entities that conduct prescribed burns, the local public health authority, and the community's public and vulnerable populations who may be impacted by smoke.
As part of the planning process, the City of Ashland and partners in Smokewise Ashland would like your input on how we can improve our city-wide response during periods of smoke.

You can access the survey here:

The survey is voluntary and individual responses will be kept confidential. This survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete.
