Unfounded Threat To Ashland High School

UNFOUNDED THREAT TO ASHLAND HIGH SCHOOL

Late Monday evening (10-7-19) APD received info of a possible threat to AHS. A juvenile student posted a picture of himself with a gun and a warning to not go to school today, Tuesday. The threat was investigated and the gun was found to be a BB gun. The juvenile was taken into custody for disorderly conduct. This case remains under investigation by the high school staff and by APD.

There is no threat to the high school, however, officers will be on campus as a precautionary measure.
