CEREMONY STAGING AND SEATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR GENERAL PUBLIC

The celebration of life ceremony for Officer Malcus Williams will be this Saturday, March, 17th. The following instructions are for members of the public who wish to attend the ceremony.

Entry into the Ashland High School Gymnasium for the Officer Malcus Williams Celebration of Life will be through the west side or the Morse Street side of the building. Seating will occur according to the following protocol.

Upon arrival of the procession at Ashland High School at approximately 10:00 A.M., the Williams Family will have private-time inside the gymnasium. Members of the Concordia Women's Basketball Team and the Ashland Police Department will be seated prior to any members of the public or uniformed personnel other than members of the Ashland PD. All other uniform staff, their families and the general public may enter the gymnasium after these groups.

Please avoid bringing bags into the venue other than purses or other small bags with personal belongings. Any bags brought into the venue will be subject to search for the safety of the event.

For those who arrive prior to being admitted to the gymnasium, there is a waiting area located at the Ashland High School Theater south of the gymnasium. There are also outdoor covered areas to the south of the theater. Restrooms are located inside the theater and coffee will be provided. Please begin to enter the gymnasium no later than 10:20 A.M. All floor chairs should be occupied before bleacher seating occurs.

Overflow seating for the Officer Malcus Williams will be located at the Ashland High School Theater where a live-stream of the event will be provided.
