In 2011 the 10K race (previously 6 miles) became a true 10K (6.2 miles). APRC and the Ashland Police Department changed the route to address safety concerns. Long are the days when the “10K” swept up Eagle Mill Rd and over to E Nevada St; only to go down N Mountain St, and then hit the last climb up Hersey St as you made your way back to Main St. Today’s 10K route is relatively flat, but still a challenge!
