The City of Ashland Conservation Division offers energy and water conservation expertise, programs and guidance to Ashland residents, as well as offering assistance and connections to resources for air quality and recycling programs and activities

The Conservation Division also provides staff support to the Ashland Conservation Commission, a Mayor appointed Commission that makes policy and program recomendations to the City Council on issues relating to electric and water conservation, new power resource opportunities, and general community education and advocacy for resource conservation.

The Division has a variety of water and energy conservation programs available to residents of Ashland, including weatherization, residential and commercial water and energy audits, appliance rebates, zero interest loans for heating and cooling systems, irrigation controller rebates, etc.

The Conservation Staff has also assembled a variety of water and energy efficiency tips and information to assist residents and businesses in their conservation efforts.
