MEMO

RE: Appointment to Traffic Safety Commission

August 2, 2005 Council Meeting

This will confirm my appointment of Alan Bender to the Traffic Safety Commission for a term to expire April 30, 2006. The vacancy was created when David Chapman was appointed to the City Council and subsequently resigned his seat the Traffic Safety Commission.

Attached are copies of the applications, and a copy of the advertisement as it appeared in the Daily Tidings. The vacancy was also advertised on the City's Web site, and on the notice board in City Hall.
