There is currently one vacancy on the Audit Committee for a Citizens' Budget Committee member for a term to expire April 30, 2006.
The Audit Committee is council appointed.
A recent poll of all Citizens' Budget Committee members indicates that the following would be interested in being considered for appointment to the Audit Committee:
David Williams
James Bond
Lynn Thompson
Marty Levine
Other current members are:
Barbara Christensen (City Recorder) voting member
Al B. Case (citizen/3 year term expires 4/30/06)
Guy Nutter (citizen/3 year term expires 4/30/07)
Please indicate your choice at the May 3, 2005 Council meeting.
Resolution 2003-07 (re Audit Committee) states in part:
Section 2.
A. Four voting members shall be appointed by the city council and shall consist of one council member or mayor, one budget committee member, and two citizens at large. The fifth voting member shall be the City Recorder. . . .
B. In making the appointments, the council shall give preference to persons with auditing or auditing experience, background, or expertise.
