Public Art

Please refer to the listings on the left-hand column under Public Art for more informaiton on the Public Arts program in Ashland.

The first piece of public art was installed in Ashland on February 4, 2006.  The piece, designed and created by local artist Sue Springer and Karen Rycheck is entitled Rio Amistad, or Friendship River,  in honor of Ashland's sister city, Guanuato Mexico.  The mosaic tiles were handcrafted at Illahe Tileworks in Ashland.
