Statement: This resolution dedicates property donated to the city for open space/nature preserve purposes. This property was given to the city by Katrina Son and William David Burns.

Background: David Burns and Katrina Son donated approximately 13.71 acres of property under a donation agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto. The property was donated for open space purposes. The Parks Commission agreed to the donation agreement and has accepted the donation of the property. 0

Related City Policies: Article XIXA, Section 2, of the city charter requires that land acquired for open space purposes shall be dedicated by the council for such purposes.
